Last Arrest Made in Logan County Murder
OSBI Agents and the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force arrested L.C. “Butch” Holton (a.k.a. Baker) at a home in the 1700 block of N. Villa in Oklahoma City overnight. Holton was arrested on a complaint of murder in the first degree, kidnapping, and robbery for the homicide of Charles Dutton.
Dutton’s body was found in far south Oklahoma City (Cleveland County) Saturday. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine his cause of death. Midiyuana Marie Huber (dob 8-15-89) was arrested Friday night at her home, 4116 N. Libby, Oklahoma City. The next morning (Saturday), Christy Lee Rogers (dob 3-16-82) and her boyfriend Donald “Donnie” A. Elliott (dob 5-30-86) were arrested at 107 Miller Driver, Amber. All three of these individuals were arrested on complaints of murder in the first degree, kidnapping, and robbery.
Information gleaned over the weekend lead investigators to believe Holton had a direct link in the murder. Investigators found Holton’s car at an extended stay motel on Northwest Expressway/May Avenue late Sunday. The U.S. Marshal’s helped locate Holton hours later on N. Villa.
Holton was booked into the Logan County jail this morning on the above listed complaints. The mug shot from this arrest is available on the OSBI website at www.ok.gov/osbi. You will see in that picture the back shoulder of a deputy. He was holding up Holton who was not cooperating with the booking process.
“I appreciate OSBI’s quick response and resolution of this murder case. They worked non-stop since mid-day Friday. They went above and beyond to bring justice to Charles Dutton’s family,” Logan County Sheriff Jim Bauman says.
