New Photos of Suspect Car, Suspect & Murder Victim

OSBI has recovered still photographs of surveillance video from a Wal-Mart in Lawton showing the suspect vehicle and the suspect and his victim just hours before her murder.

Lester and Tonya Hobbs went to the Wal-Mart on Sheridan about 5:15 pm to purchase several food items prior to the dinner the couple and Tonya’s children had with Hobbs’ sister and her family Saturday evening.

“These new pictures show the suspect car that is now missing as well as what the suspect, Lester Hobbs, looks like and the clothes he may be wearing now,” Jessica Brown, OSBI PIO, says.

Tuesday afternoon a warrant for first degree murder and kidnapping was filed on Lester Hobbs for the murder of Tonya Hobbs and the kidnapping of her daughter.
