Elk City Murder Victim Identified

The Elk City Police Department has identified a murder victim found in Elk Lake Monday (6-22) afternoon by people fishing on that body of water.

OSBI latent print examiners matched fingerprints they took from the victim with prints of 27-year-old Angel Love Gilbreath of Elk City. The medical examiner has rule Gilbreath’s death a homicide from multiple stab wounds.

Elk City Police Detectives have served a search warrant on her home. They are currently processing a car she was last seen occupying.

No arrest has been made, but police are working with a person of interest.
