Press Conference Called in Weleetka Case

The OSBI will hold a press conference outside the Okfuskee County Courthouse in Okemah Monday, June 8th at 10:30 a.m. The bureau wants to update the public on the murder case of Taylor Placker and Skyla Whitaker on the one year anniversary of the crime.

Without getting into specifics, Public Information Officer Jessica Brown will communicate the approximate amount of time and resources used in this case thus far. The public also needs to understand this case is still very active.

Members of both victims’ families will attend the press conference as well as Okfuskee County Sheriff Jack Choate and Assistant District Attorney Maxey Reilly.
