Arrests Made in Idabel Murder

January 9th, Kendall Wheeler (d.o.b.1/15/86) was shot to death outside the Corner Grocery Store in Idabel about 9 p.m. Two other people, Carlos Eugene Brown (d.o.b. 3/8/84) and Lamarcus DeAllen Carter (d.o.b. 7/21/90) were shot and wounded.

Today, the district attorney filed charges against Mondale Golston (dob 4/13/92) and Carey Lynn Humphrey, Jr. (dob 3/3/91) for one count of first degree murder and three counts of shooting with intent to kill. The third count of shooting with intent is due to a fourth person riding inside the victim's car who was not injured.

OSBI agents arrested Golston at his home in the 1000 block of S.W. Monroe in Idabel about 3:30 this afternoon. Humphrey was arrested at the Idabel police station a half hour earlier.

The victims and suspects in this case are all from the Idabel area.
