Lone Grove Murder Investigation

The Carter County District Attorney’s Office requested OSBI agents investigate the murder of a Lone Grove woman Sunday, June 17^th.  Pamela Sue Purser was found by a family member inside her Lone Grove home early Sunday evening.  OSBI will not release the nature of the homicide until the medical examiner has performed an autopsy.

OSBI found no forced entry to the home, and it appears robbery was not a motive for the murder.  The victim’s 2-year-old grandchild was inside the home unharmed.  Purser had custody of the child.

Agents have collected evidence at the scene and interviewed many people, but authorities have no suspects at this time.
