OSBI Non-Commissioned of the Year Awarded

Bill Pickle was presented with the OSBI 2007 Non-Commissioned of the Year Award during a ceremony Tuesday at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.  Pickle has been with the agency for 26 years and currently is assigned to the bureau’s special investigative unit.

Pickle was presented the coveted award for saving the bureau money by rolling up his sleeves and transferring vehicle parts from surplused cars to existing agent vehicles. He also helped solve parking problems at headquarters by engineering new spaces.

During the year, Pickle readied the OSBI Command Trailer for several large investigative operations. This allowed agents to focus on their case and not worry about the operations of such equipment.
