Reward Reinstated in Hughes County Homicide

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has reinstated a reward for information in the case of a murdered Hughes County man.  The body of Earl Williams was found lying in a park near his home in Stuart the morning of July 9th, 2004.  During the investigation, officers determined the 44-year-old man had struggled with his assailant at his home and died as a result.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is offering up to a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for Williams’ death.  Agents believe someone has information that can help solve this case.

If you have any information about this case, call either the Hughes County Sheriff’s office at (580) 379-2203 or the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
