OSBI Science Center Topping Out Ceremony

OSBI celebrated a milestone in the building project for the Forensic Science Center in Edmond today (9/15).  Criminalists signed the last beam to be erected on the building.  This traditional “topping out” ceremony happened next to the building at Fink Park during a lunch cookout.

Manhattan Construction will place this ceremonial beam on top the FSC in the next few weeks.  The building should be finished by this time next year.  You can find a photograph of criminalists Grace Helms and Shelly Shultz signing the beam at www.osbi.state.ok.us.
