OSBI Investigates Bryan County Homicide

The Bryan County District Attorney’s Office requested OSBI assistance in a homicide case that happened just north of Durant the evening of July 13^th.

About 9:30 p.m. Jeffrey Tyler, 35 years of age, called 9-1-1 reporting his girlfriend had shot him and that he had taken the gun away from her and shot her with it.  When medical personnel arrived at Tyler’s remote home, they found he had one gunshot wound to the stomach and 42-year-old Kimberly Bradford was dead from a gunshot wound to her head.

Tyler was transported to a hospital in Oklahoma City where he is listed in good condition.

OSBI agents have collected forensic evidence and conducted several interviews pertaining to this case.
