OSBI Investigates Weekend Murder in Choctaw County
At 1 a.m. Saturday, July 8th, a Boswell man was shot and killed as he was driving his vehicle through the town of Soper on Highway 70 in Choctaw County. The Sheriff’s Department called OSBI to help investigate the killing.
Twenty-year-old Drew Hall was struck once with a bullet from a rifle. A second bullet hit the vehicle. Three other people inside the Chevy Tahoe Hall was driving took control of the SUV and drove Hall to Bokchito where an ambulance was waiting. Emergency crews took Hall to a hospital in Durant where he was pronounced head.
OSBI has identified persons’ of interest in this case. No arrests have been made. Agents continue to follow the trail of evidence.
