OSBI Does Not Endorse Candidate

Late last week, commercials ran on local television stations claiming the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation along with 13 other police agencies indorses David Prater for Oklahoma County District Attorney.  In fact, the OSBI cannot indorse a candidate for any race.

In response to OSBI concerns over the commercial, Prater promised the bureau the ad would be removed from the public airways.  However, OSBI has learned the commercial with the false endorsement remains on Prater’s website.  OSBI again requests Prater to take that ad off his website since, again,  the OSBI cannot by law endorse any candidate.
