Community Raises Money to Increase Reward in Murder Case Effective 03-04-08
Members of the Locust Grove community have raised $5,000 to put toward the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the December murders of Jack and Elaine Denney inside their Locust Grove home.

This money will be added to the up to $10,000 already set by the OSBI for a total of up to $15,000 in reward money.  The fundraiser was held Saturday, March 1st at the Locust Grove School.

"OSBI is hopeful this increase in reward money will entice someone to come forward with information that could help law enforcement to advance this case," Jessica Brown, OSBI Public Information Officer, says.

The Denney's were found by a family member shot to death inside their home.  OSBI and local law enforcement have investigated many dozens of leads.  So far, neither a suspect nor a motive has been identified.

If anyone has information about this case, they are urged to call the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017 or leave a tip on the OSBI Internet tip line at www.osbi.state.ok.us
