The OSBI Computer Crimes Unit was created to address the increasing number of computer crimes in our state. As our nations reliance on personal computers increased, the need for specially trained Agents to investigate computer crime and perform forensic examinations of digital evidence also increased. The Computer Crimes Unit is �is staffed by one (1) Agent in Charge and seven (7) Special Agents. Special Agents are assigned to Weatherford, �Tulsa , and �Oklahoma City to provide support for local law enforcement agencies across Oklahoma. �The OSBI computer crime agents investigate a wide variety of computer related crime including network intrusions, child pornography, identity theft and fraud. Digital evidence has become a fact of life for all law enforcement agencies and the OSBI Computer Crime Unit assists local law enforcement with the forensic examination of digital evidence in all types of crime. All of the agents are Certified Forensic Computer Examiners and members of the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS).
