(ACHCA is to a LTC Administrator quite like the Bar Association is to a Lawyer...As an administrator, this is YOUR professional association and you should want to belong.  They offer memberships for students and "bridge" memberships to those newly licensed and seeking employment as an administrator.  The education you can get from this group can be immensely valuable and all LTC Administrators should consider joining and participating in the "peer to peer" forum. They also offer a "Certification" program which is helpful in "fast tracking" licensing by reciprocity between some states.  Definitely worth researching...)
