Joe Miller, Administrator

Joe Miller has been the Administrator for the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission since January 2004.  Before becoming the Administrator for the Commission he worked for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics as a property officer for 4 years.  Prior to that Joe was the Director of State Counterdrug Operations for the Oklahoma National Guard for 10 years.  He has competed and been involved in all types of athletics from a very young age.  Joe had a very successful amateur boxing career winning the Kansas/Oklahoma Golden Gloves tournament and a short two year stint as a professional boxer.  He coached and trained amateur boxers for the Golden Gloves Old Timers Association.  Prior to his appointment as the Administrator for the Commission, Joe served in the capacity as a ring official for 5 years.
