The Monthly Salary Range for Level II (Pay Band K) is $2633.00 to $4294.50, Level III (Pay Band L) is $2,834.33 to $4,723.83 and for Level IV (Pay Band M) is $3,200.00 to $5,243.33.  Essential Functions:   This position manages a general caseload serving Pittsburg County.  This position assesses eligibility for VR services including a thorough analysis of the applicant’s disability and its implications with regard to employment.  The position will assess the client’s interests, aptitudes, work experience and many other factors in order to assist in determining a vocational goal and the services needed in order to reach that goal.  The position will work with the client to locate and coordinate services of federal, state, and other agencies needed to achieve the successful employment outcome. Employee must be willing to perform all job related travel.  Probationary period (or trial period if applicable) is required.  Education and Experience Requirements: Level I - requirements at this level consist of a bachelor’s degree in vocational rehabilitation, vocational evaluation, or counseling; OR a bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in a disability related field.   Level II – requirements at this level consist of a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation, and vocational rehabilitation: OR a master’s degree in any subject and one year of professional experience in counseling, job placement, vocational evaluation or rehabilitation. Juvenile Justice Specialist Level II (K10B) May underfill with Juvenile Justice Specialist Level I (K10A)

The position will also support data collection and reporting out of the new web application and the existing application.  The position will also provide support to contracted Community Rehabilitation Providers (CRP’s) and technical assistance within the ESS unit.  The position is responsible for the collecting and analyzing of data input into the system and developing reports and reporting standards as identified by the ESS unit staff and/or CRP’s.  Strong communication skills and very strong computer skills primarily within the Microsoft Office suite are a must.  Position will provide classroom and on-site training of computerized billing systems and installation of computer programs as deemed necessary for the benefit of the CRP’s across the state and DRS staff as needed.  Applicant must be willing to perform all job related travel. Youth Guidance Specialist Level III (Z51C)
