WRITING SKILLS FOR MANAGERS - 0.6 CEU


 

 

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:
This workshop is for managers and supervisors who want to broaden their writing skills by adopting a writing process that communicates their ideas more simply and concisely.

 

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: 
Managers and supervisors who are already familiar with basic grammar skills and are required to write on a regular basis for their job.

 

 

OBJECTIVES:
Participants will: 

 

  1. Identify the three stages of the writing process.
  2. Compare at least two methods for writing more effectively.
  3. Identify words and/or phrases that should be avoided.
  4. Organize class information using one logical, systematic approach discussed in class. Practice writing messages that inform and persuade.
