Annual Forcible Rape Rate (per 100,000 inhabitants)

The number of all forcible rapes reported in one calendar year expressed as a number per 100,000 inhabitants. Forcible rape is the carnal knowledge of a female forcibly and against their will. Attempts or assaults to commit rape by force or threat of force are also included; however, statutory rape (without force) and other sex offenses are excluded.
