Music Guide

The Oklahoma Film & Music Office's Music Guide is an all-inclusive, fully searchable online source for local music of all levels, styles, and genres. Oklahoma music talent and businesses are able to register for the guide free of charge, and any music fan with internet access is able to browse the database to find original Oklahoma artists, live music hot spots, and music businesses. The music guide serves as a resource and facilitates connections between members of the music industry.


Registering for the guide and creating a listing only takes a few simple steps. To get started, please click here.

Once officially launched, the guide will feature a search function that allows the results to be returned according to a variety of categories.

SXSW 2012

The Oklahoma Film & Music Office is gearing up for South by Southwest 2012 (SXSW 2012). To be held in Austin, TX, March 9-18, OF&MO will once again host Oklahoma's Buffalo Lounge events. SXSW 2011 marked the debut of the Buffalo Lounge, which featured the first Oklahoma showcase, spotlighting noteworthy Oklahoma musicians from across the state. Over 25 musicians took the stage during the four music events held. Interactive and film events also took place at the Buffalo Lounge, providing Oklahoma residents the chance to network with individuals and companies in our state and all over the world. The Oklahoma Film & Music Office hosts semiannual, open-to-the-public Music Development Meetings in Oklahoma City and Tulsa to discuss the current state of Oklahoma’s music industry, as well as ways to help facilitate its continued growth.
