Oklahoma Arts Institute- Quartz Mountain With programs held at the Quartz Mountain Arts and Conference Center in southwest Oklahoma, the Oklahoma Arts Institute is a private, non-profit organization with a vision to cultivate established and emerging artists and educators through art workshops, immersion, and awareness. It has recruited nationally renowned artists to teach a fine arts program for talented Oklahoma youth and a series of continuing education workshops for adults. |

Sonder Music, Dance & Art teaches music literacy and technical proficiency and artistry on your instrument, as well as ear-training, music appreciation, and improvisation skills, to make you a more complete musician. The creative and supportive learning environment encourages both kids and adults to get the most out of their lessons. In addition to the music lessons, Sonder offers dance and visual art classes, many of which incorporate music, story, and metaphor as teaching tools. It also host community arts events, including concerts, art openings, and workshops. |

The McMichael School of Music, Norman’s largest private teaching facility, offers a full complement of faculty artists and scholars providing instruction in contemporary and traditional instrumental and voice, music education and theory. The faculty is composed of active performers, composers, producers, and authors; many members have received awards for teaching and creative activity. Students and faculty perform by invitation at quarterly recitals and an active outreach program which includes performances throughout Oklahoma. |

This program includes over fifty singers in grades three through twelve from over forty diverse public, private, and home schools in three separate choruses. Weekly rehearsals conducted during the school year prioritize vocal technique, sight-singing, and beautiful choral music. The highest quality choral music education and performance opportunities for young singers in Tulsa and surrounding areas are available through the Tulsa Children’s Chorus. |
