Service Award - Charlotte Stieber, 25 Years
Charlotte Stieber, OCC Abandoned Mine Land Reclamation Program administrative officer, was recognized at the October meeting of the Conservation Commission for 25 years service to the state of Oklahoma. Charlotte joined OCC in September 1982 as word processor operator. In July 1983 she was promoted to administrative assistant I and in May 1986 was promoted to administrative II. She was promoted to administrative officer I in October 1989. AML Director Mike Kastl commended Stieber for her support of the National AML Association by helping with the association's newsletter, meeting minutes and by-laws revisions. At the 2002 NAAMLP conference in Utah, she received the association's Stan Barnard Award. Kastl also commended Stieber for her assistance to the Auxiliary associations of both the Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts and the south central region of the National Association of Conservation Districts and for her help with the OCC newsletter.
