Service Award: Ed Crall, Five Years
Edward (Ed) Crall was recognized for five years of service to the state of Oklahoma and the Conservation Commission at the June 2007 Commission meeting. He joined OCC’s Water Quality Division as education coordinator for the Fort Cobb Water Quality Project in April 2002. He did “double duty” in the final days of the Stillwater Creek Project when the project coordinator’s position became open. Ed earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Business Administration from Oklahoma Panhandle State University in May 1978. He also graduated as a member of Class VIII of the Oklahoma Agricultural Leadership program in 1998. Currently he is a part time student at the University of Oklahoma where he has completed 36 of the 54 hours needed to earn a Masters of Accountancy degree. Ed’s wife Debbie teaches 1st grade in the Thomas, Fay, Custer Unified School District. They have three children -- daughter Krysta is a legal secretary in Oklahoma City and recently married; son Ty is a well logging engineer for Halliburton Industries; and son Wade is a senior in the School of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. Whenever possible Ed participates in activities of the Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association and the Custer County Farm Bureau.
