Service Award: Dianne Ireton, 20 Years

Dianne Ireton, systems coordinator for the Conservation Commission's Abandoned Mine Land Program, was recognized at the December Commission meeting for 20 years of service to OCC and the State of Oklahoma. She began with OCC in October 1986, as a Word Processor Operator I and went on to complete her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration at Central State University in 1988. In 1989 she was promoted to Administrative Assistant I and in 1998 she was promoted to AML systems coordinator.

AML Director Mike Kastl called Dianne "the 'go-to girl," stating that nearly everyone in the agency has gone to her at one time or another -- or many times -- for some kind of help, especially in the area of design graphics and computer graphics software. Ireton is a regular contributor to theme ideas and graphic designs for projects of OCC and the Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts. Kastl also cited the work Dianne contributes to district director and employee service awards and to the National Land & Range Judging Contest.
