Conservation District Director Elections

Conservation district director elections are held each year on the second Tuesday in March, as
established by law. This day is also designated by law as Conservation District Day in Oklahoma.
District Director Position #1, which expires on March 3I, 2008, is up for election on March I I,
2008.

To be eligible for conservation district director, candidates are required to be registered voters in the
district and have a cooperator agreement on file with the district The agreement must be on file 30
days prior to filing for election and is considered on file after it has been approved by the board of
directors during a board meeting.

The filing period for Elected Position III is scheduled for February 1-14, 2008. Required forms can
