2008 Land Judging Contest Goes On Despite Rain

Contestants were undaunted by pouring rain and standing water.
Oklahoma City — Over 170 teams of teenage FFA and 4-H members competed in the 57th annual National Land and Range Judging Contest, held May 5-7. The outdoor contest proceeded despite rainstorms blanketing most of the state. El Reno, the city nearest the contest site, reported 2.43 inches of rain for May 7, the day of the contest. (More)
