HB1051 - by Representative Winchester and Senator Mike Johnson States the right of student victims to be separated from student offenders at school and during transportation. -Allows student victims, as well as their siblings, to be separated from student offenders at school and during school transportation.
-States OJA is to notify the superintendent of the school district of the offense within 30 days of adjudication of the offender.
-Creates the Diabetes Management in Schools Act.

HB1545 – by Representative Winchester and Senator Mike Johnson States minor changes for the divisions of the Office of Juvenile Affairs -Creates the Division of Juvenile Treatment Services by combining the Division of Juvenile Services with the Division of Residential and Treatment Programs.
-Allows OJA to establish other divisions, with Board approval.
Status: Feb 27 Passed House 100-0; April 23 Passed Senate 46-0.

HB1579 – by Representative Peters and Senator Barrington Regarding Juvenile proceedings by increasing certain time limitations, authorizing assessment fee, and allows disclosure of records. -Extends the deadline for the DA to file a petition alleging a child to be delinquent or in need of supervision from 90 days to up to 6 months.
-District attorneys are allowed to provide a brief summary to the victims of the delinquent acts.
-Allows for the disclosure of confidential juvenile records to certain federal entities.

HB1760 – by Representative Blackwell and Senator Lamb Relates to child sexual abuse and creates the Oklahoma Statewide Gang Intervention Steering Committee. -Relates to child sexual abuse and the post-imprisonment for sex offenders.
-Creates the Oklahoma Statewide Gang Intervention Steering Committee, with the purpose to coordinate a response to gang activity and violence, as well as to determine an approach to the prevention of juvenile sex offenses.
-Created until February 1, 2012, with 25 members, chair appointed by the Speaker of the House.

HB1895 – by Representative Morrissette and Senator Ballenger Creates the Oklahoma Youth and Gang Violence Coordinating Council. -Creates the Oklahoma Youth and Gang Violence Coordinating Council, which is to coordinate Oklahoma’s response to gang activity and violence by assessing and making recommendations of programs and services provided by the Office of Juvenile Affairs.
-Created until February 1, 2010, with 22 members, chaired by the Lieutenant Governor.
