Community Involvement

Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center strives to be an integral part of the Tecumseh, Shawnee and surrounding communities. We accomplish this by reaching out to local nonprofits and public organizations to allow our community level residents to assist them in a variety of local projects that enhance the quality of the community as a whole. Whether it is working at the annual Thanksgiving celebration in Tecumseh or assisting with the foster children’s Christmas Party at the Citizen Pottawatomi Nation Heritage Center or assembling food baskets we want to build a relationship of trust and goodwill in the communities that we live.

We understand that the people who live and work near the Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center are our neighbors.  Being a good neighbor is a core value of our relationship with the community.
