So you’re interested in becoming an appraiser?
Then you’ve come to the right place!
On this page, you will find all of the pertinent information that you will need to become a Trainee appraiser in the state of Oklahoma. If you have previously held an appraisal license in Oklahoma, please see Board Rule 600:10-1-14; located under REGULATORY GUIDANCE, to find information on Reinstatement.
As of January 1, 2008, the AQB Criteria for qualifying education has been changed. Appraiser courses must now be the courses listed in the Core Curriculum.

APPRAISER QUALIFICATION CRITERIA FOR TRAINEES
|Educational Prerequisites||Experience Prerequisites||Scope of Practice|
|75 hours of qualifying courses approved by the Board including 15 hour National USPAP course.||None.||Appraisal of those properties within the authorized scope of practice of the supervisory appraiser.|
*All Trainee appraisers are required to have a supervising appraiser at all times while licensed at entry level (see below).
