In order to allow the public to easily access the health insurance rate and form filings that insurers have made in compliance with the Patient Protection and Accordable Care Act (PPACA), the Oklahoma Insurance Department provides this online access point. Through this interface you can search and review PPACA-related filings submitted to the state since June 10, 2010.
All filings are subject to the Oklahoma Open Records Act. The Act has some exceptions; for example, proprietary information. Those parts of the filing that are not subject to disclosure are not viewable through public access.
To access these filings, please click the “Search Rate and Form Filings” link below. You will be taken to the Oklahoma Interface page, which is maintained by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). Review the NAIC’s terms and conditions, then click “I Agree” in order to access the search page. Instructions on how to execute a search may be found by clicking on the “Help” button located at the top left corner of the search page.
If you have questions or comments concerning a particular filing, please contact the Oklahoma Insurance Department and ask for the PPACA Rate Review team: 405-521-3681 or 1-800-522-0071 or email PPACARateReview@oid.ok.gov
If a health plan proposes a rate increase of 10 percent or more, the health plan must submit information to the Oklahoma Insurance Department and to the federal Department of Health and Human Services. When that occurs, a link to that information will be available on this page.
