Interlocal cooperatives that receive premiums or contributions for the insurance they offer are required to file financial statements with the Oklahoma Insurance Department under 36 O.S. 607.1. Those financial statements are posted on this webpage. OID is not authorized to otherwise regulate interlocals transactions. The insurance department does not provide any analysis or comment on the filed reports.
Interlocals must file an audited financial statement with OID within 180 days after the end of their fiscal year. Failure to file a timely report may result in a $500 per day fine. Those statements are public and posted here.
The statement must include:
1. The report of an independent certified public accountant in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America;
