DUI and Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) Testing

  • In Oklahoma, you are considered under the influence if you have a BAC of .08 or higher
  • If you have a BAC of .15 or higher, you can be charged with Aggravated DUI
  • Penalties can include loss of driving privileges, fines, incarceration, and other legal requirements
  • The Board of Chemical Tests will be starting the new Intoxilyzer 8000 Fielding Project for Oklahoma in October of 2007. For information on this project or other questions regarding BAC testing, contact Dr. Robert Blakeburn, Oklahoma Board of Chemical Tests, at (405) 425-2460.
