Labor Market Statistics - Publications

Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages:  This publication contains average annual employment and payroll figures for the state and each county. In addition, covered employment and average weekly earnings figures are included by major industry division for every county in the state and the Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Lawton, and Enid Metropolitan Statistical Areas. The information contained in this handbook was tabulated from the quarterly contributions reports and Multiple Work-site Report supplements submitted by employers subject to the Oklahoma Employment Security Act.

Labor Force Information for Affirmative Action Programs: The data in this publication reflect the most current Census data and pertinent Oklahoma Labor Force information needed for Affirmative Action Program Planning for the nation, state, MSAs, and all counties. EEO Detailed Reports for Occupations of Civilian Labor Force by Minority Status/Gender are available upon request for the nation, state, MSAs, and counties.

Labor Force Data:  This publication includes the civilian labor force data, employed, unemployed, and the unemployment rate for the state, nation, county and metropolitan statistical areas.

Oklahoma Licensed and Certified Occupations: This publication provides students, clients, counselors and other interested persons with information concerning occupations that require licensing and certification in Oklahoma. 

Oklahoma Wage Report: The results of a statewide wage survey by occupation are reported in a statewide and sub-state area publications. Depending on the response of the survey, the publication reports wage data for various occupations.

State Rankings: This summary of state rankings provides comparisons between
Oklahoma and the rest of the nation using 25 key labor market indicators. 

Workforce Oklahoma Employment Outlook: This publication presents occupational employment, projected growth, and average openings for more than 500 occupations. Charts, graphs, and tables visually reveal the occupational outlook, augmenting the detailed listing of each occupation.  Additionally, Oklahoma's Educational Capacity report is located here.

Oklahoma State of the Workforce:  This publication is an informational and planning tool produced by the Economic Research & Analysis division of the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission. It examines characteristics of Oklahoma’s workforce such as industrial employment, occupational employment, occupational wages, education and training requirements, and employment projections.

Workforce Investment Area (WIA) Economic Reports: The WIA economic reports provide WIA specific data including; Sales Subject to Tax, Employment and Unemployment, Per Capita Personal Income, Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, Occupational and Industrial Projections, Wage data, and links to these and other data sources.
