The Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) program produces employment and wage estimates for over 800 occupations. These are estimates of the number of people employed in certain occupations, and estimates of the wages paid to them. Self-employed persons are not included in the estimates. These estimates are available for the Statewide area, the Metropolitan Statistical Areas, the Workforce Investment Areas, and the Local Labor Market Areas. Resources: Updated May 2009 Oklahoma Wage Network (OWN): The Oklahoma Wage Network is an online database that allows the user to access wage and employment estimates by geographic area and by occupation. In addition to the current estimates, OWN provides the user with historic and comparative data. OWN Data in Excel Format: (File Size is 2.5mb) You can now download OWN data in an excel format. The data is separated into four tabs: Statewide, MSA and Balance of State (BOS), Workforce Investment Area(WIA), and Local Labor Market Area's (LLMA). OWN Technical Documentation: Access technical documentation concerning OWN data. Publications: Oklahoma Wage Report: The results of a statewide wage survey by occupation are reported in a statewide and sub-state area publications. Depending on the response of the survey, the publication reports wage data for various occupations. (PDF documents may exceed 2MB in size)
