Playground Safety Awareness Program

playground safety

Each year approximately 206,000 preschool and elementary children receive emergency medical care for injuries that occur on playground equipment. The resources below detail how to protect children from injuries that are preventable. A classroom lesson plan, safety checklists and guidelines for establishing safer playgrounds are among the wonderful resources available to help keep play time both fun and safe.

Playground Safety Poster Contest
