ODMHSAS Grant Information
The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) encourages consumer groups, service provider organizations and advocacy groups to seek funding for training, education and treatment beyond what is available through ODMHSAS state appropriations and federal block grants. To facilitate these efforts, ODMHSAS has added this Grant Information section to the ODMHSAS website.

  • The ODMHSAS provides a link to current Funding Opportunities, categorized by focus (mental illness, substance abuse, prevention).
  • The Grant Resources link provides a multitude of links to federal and private websites we have found useful in researching, developing and supporting our proposals.
  • A link is also provided to a Grant Terminology document for those of you new to the field of grants and grants management.
  • Frequently Asked Questions have been submitted to the Grants Management Specialist by visitors to the site and are provided for your information.
The ODMHSAS Grants Management Specialist will provide training and technical assistance to service providers, consumer groups, tribes and tribal organizations, state and non-profit agencies in identification of agency needs, researching potential funding opportunities, clarification of grant announcements, grant development and grants management, interpretation of grant regulations, grants.gov electronic find and apply, the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act and Recovery Act funds.
