The Community Champions Initiative is a way for your organization to inform your employees about mental and addictive disorders. It aims to fight the stigma associated with these diseases in order to get those who need help to ask for it. The initiative is a year long and requires as much effort as you wish to provide. For more information, go to the Community Champions Initiative page. This year in September, ODMHSAS is launching the first ever Prevention and Recovery 77 Initiative. The goal is hold a prevention and/or recovery event during SAMHSAS annual Recovery Month in each of the 77 counties in Oklahoma.
