Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Technical Assistance Information
Welcome to the ADA and Technical Assistance information page. On this page you will find many links for information regarding the ADA, reasonable accommodation, Title I, II, and III laws and violations, and housing discrimination.
This document contains scoping and technical requirements for accessibility to buildings and facilities by individuals with disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. These scoping and technical requirements are to be applied during the design, construction, and alteration of buildings and facilities covered by titles II and III of the ADA to the extent required by regulations issued by Federal agencies, including the Department of Justice and the Department of Transportation, under the ADA.
A 21-page booklet that provides a brief overview of ten Federal laws that protect the rights of people with disabilities and provides information about the federal agencies to contact for more information.
This booklet explains the part of the ADA that prohibits job discrimination. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and State and local civil rights enforcement agencies that work with the Commission enforce this part of the law.

Often times people with disabilities experience denied access. Clearly the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) of 1990 protects people with disabilities.
