Joyce Martin

Joyce Martin was appointed to the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women in 2006 by Governor Brad Henry.  She has served on the Women and Leadership Committee, co-chaired the 2009 Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame, and currently serves as the Advisory Council Chair.  Martin works at Security Bank, Tulsa, in the credit department working primarily on loan documentation.

Martin has also been involved in a variety of community service activities, including St. Jude's, Arms Around Broken Arrow, Women Encouraging Women, Angel Tree, and John 3:16.

Born in Sentinel, Oklahoma, Martin attended and graduated from Sentinel Public Schools.  She attended Oklahoma State University. 

Martin began her career in farming and has continued.  Previously, she served as legal assistance for Perry, Gentry, Perry & Marsh law firm in Hobart, Oklahoma.

Martin and her husband David live in Broken Arrow.
