Toxicology

The Toxicology Laboratory provides services for both the Central and Eastern Division of the Oklahoma Medical Examiner System by providing forensic analytical testing of specimens and evidence from medical examiner cases. The laboratory is responsible for analytical testing, records maintenance and review of analytical testing for more than 4000 medical examiner cases annually. The staff consists of a Chief and Deputy Chief Toxicologist, six chemists and a laboratory technician. The laboratory performs more than 20,000 analytical tests each year.  The laboratory is accredited by ABFT (American Board of Forensic Toxicology).
