SBIR/STTR Phase I Proposal Preparation and Cost Proposal-Government Accounting Workshops
Sponsored by OCAST and the Norman Economic Development Authority
July 28th - Day 1 is one of the most popular workshops on preparing a Phase I proposal for SBIR/STTR funding. We start with the basics of SBIR/STTR, then cover a four-step process for developing a competitive Phase I proposal. Attendees, as a group, will review a sample Phase I proposal and comment on its strengths and weaknesses before learning the history of that proposal.
July 29th - Day 2 is the Cost Proposal and Government Accounting session. Prepare to wade through and actually make sense out of the perplexing world of the SBIR/STTR cost proposal, and how to keep records to the government's satisfaction when you win an SBIR award. Participants will learn how to develop an indirect rate, talk about what to expect in the way of government audits, and gain insight into government accounting terminology. While aimed at the SBIR/STTR competitor this is a one-of-a-kind workshop that has proven valuable for any recipient of government contracts and grants.
