NOTICE OF HEARING FOR AN ORDER AUTHORIZING A FINAL DISPOSITION OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF THE OKLAHOMA STATE BUREAU OF NARCOTICS AND DANGEROUS DRUGS CONTROL TO DESTROY OR SELL UNCLAIMED PROPERTY AT PUBLIC AUCTION
Notice is hereby given that the Director of the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control (OBNDD) is in lawful possession of certain unclaimed property and that said property has been in the possession of the OBNDD for at least six (6) months. The property which is at issue is briefly described as follows:
Miscellaneous items including weapons seized during criminal drug cases. (a list of these items may be viewed here)
Therefore, pursuant to 63 O.S. §2-508(C), the Director of the OBNDD, R. Darrell Weaver, by and through his attorney, Susan Rogers, General Counsel, made application to the District Court of Oklahoma County for a hearing authorizing the sale of said property at public auction. Said hearing will be held in the courtroom of the Honorable Judge Parrish, in the Oklahoma County Courthouse, 321 Park Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at 9 a.m. on the 4th day of June 2010. Anyone wishing to object must appear and make argument against such disposition.
