An Oklahoma City man is behind bars today for trafficking cocaine. Mark Woodward, Spokesman for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics says 23-year-old Tomas Ramirez-Gonzales was arrested Thursday evening during an undercover drug deal in south Oklahoma City.
"Gonzales agreed to supply a kilo of cocaine to an undercover OBN agent. As the deal was about to take place, Gonzales took off in his vehicle, tossing the cocaine and nearly $7,000 from his car window."

Woodward says Gonzales was arrested following a short vehicle pursuit. According to Woodward, OBN agents had made previous undercover cocaine purchases from the defendant. Gonzales was booked into the Oklahoma County jail where he will face 5 counts of trafficking cocaine. The operation was a joint investigation involving OBN and the US Marshals Metro Fugitive Task Force.
