Education
The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics wants to educate Oklahomans on the realities and consequences of drug abuse.
The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Education Group is a team of five instructors working within the Education branch of OBNDD. Stationed and available throughout the State of Oklahoma, these instructors are able to present drug abuse awareness programs to school children from kindergarten to 12th grade, and programs to concerned Oklahoma citizens who want to be educated on drug abuse issues facing our state. Topics covered can include, but are not limited to the consequences of drug use and abuse, the dangers of alcohol and tobacco, marijuana use, prescription drug abuse, date rape/club drug trends, and the continued methamphetamine problem. Our education programs also include information on the signs and symptoms of substance abuse, and can be tailored to fit the needs and issues in your area. There is no cost associated with these programs; they are absolutely free to your group or community.
