The mission of the Oklahoma Board of Nursing is to safeguard the public's health, safety, and welfare through the regulation of nursing practice and nursing education.

The Oklahoma Board of Nursing gains recognition by all as a model of integrity through legally sound, fiscally responsible, and quality driven decision making and leadership in the regulation of nursing education and practice. Members of the Board and staff are knowledgeable, efficient, and dedicated to providing quality services through teamwork, collaboration and creativity.
