Mike Mayberry, Executive Director
Mike is the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Agriculture Mediation Program, a not-for-profit program dedicated to helping Oklahoma farm and ranch producers.
His 35 year career with state government included serving as Deputy Court Administrator for the Oklahoma Supreme Court and the Administrative Office of the Courts. He was Administrative Director of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Public Information Officer for the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department.
Mike is familiar with the agricultural diversity in Oklahoma and just enjoys helping people solve their problems, whether they are with government, their neighbors or a stranger. He is an attorney and trained mediator who revels when parties can agree to solve their issues and avoid going to court.
Mike graduated from Oklahoma City University Law School, the University of Oklahoma, attended OSU and Rogers State University after growing up raising cattle in Claremore and the northeastern part of the state. He and his wife, Leisa, make their home in west Edmond, where they have two children. His current hobbies include kayak fishing and beekeeping.
Cara Adams, Operations & Communications Manager
Cara Adams joined the Oklahoma Agriculture Mediation office on Oct 1, 2014 as the Operations & Communications Manager. She has built a variety of business experience as the previous Publications & Training Coordinator with HP and a Graphic Designer at Petra Industries. She has vast experience in marketing and project management. She received a bachelor of science in Agriculture Communications from Oklahoma State University.
Cara grew up with an agriculture background in the small town of Buffalo, OK. Working on her family farm, Cara was right in the thick of it with working cattle and driving the tractor. Cara enjoys spending time with her son, Duncan, and her spouse, Jerome. When not chasing after her son, Cara enjoys painting, cross stitch and crochet and is learning to play the violin.
