Workshops Oil & Gas Measurement Workshop Instructor: Teddy Pledger - Agape, Inc. Teddy Pledger graduated from LSU with a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering. He has worked for a major service company, a major oil company, a large independent, a small management company and started his own company in 1976. He has been involved in training and consulting work for over 30 years. His list of clients include Amoco, BP, Occidental, LL&E and many smaller independents. Mr. Pledger, also an Oklahoma producer, presents insights into the correct and proper methods to measure crude oil and natural gas for sales. The first section “Oil Sales from Storage Tanks” will cover the various storage tanks, tank gauging and understanding field values vs. corrected values (run statement). The second section “Gas Sales from Field Meters” will cover the meter run, various meters, the chart recorder, field problems and contracts. By attending this event, you will gain valuable knowledge relating to maximizing your sales. Teddy utilizes API specifications where applicable and also adds great tips and processes to improve your operations and sales. Teddy points out many areas where mistakes can be made that will reduce the income for the sale of oil or gas. Come prepared for an upbeat presentation that is filled with valuable and useable information that will put more money in the bank.
