Opportunities

From the gushing Wild Mary Suddick to the environmental and community projects that support our growing state, the industry has earned a colorful place in the state's past and has helped shape its future.

The oil and gas industry is one of the most important segments of Oklahoma's economy. With over 85% of the crude oil production and 10% of the natural gas production in the state being produced from marginal wells, Oklahoma's financial stability is closely tied to that of its marginal petroleum production.

Oklahoma's marginal well operators are a hardy group that takes pride in their contribution to the industry, state and economy. Some of these very individuals played an important role in creating the Commission on Marginally Producing Oil and Gas Wells. They realize an organized approach to saving stripper wells is essential.

We've made progress through our information sharing and technology transfer programs. However, only your support will permit continued success in our mission to save Oklahoma's stripper wells.

For input or suggestions on how we can help save marginal wells, contact the Marginal Well Commission at (405) 604-0460, or 1-800-390-0460.
