Council on Firefighter Training (COFT) The Oklahoma State Legislature created a tax credit incentive for volunteer firefighters who maintain certain levels of training.This tax incentive is offered through the Oklahoma Council on Firefighter Trainer (COFT).Currently, there are two available levels: a $200 and a $400 credit. All volunteer firefighters applying for the first time in 2010, must submit for the $200 credit. Applicants who have previously been awarded the $200 credit may apply for the $400 credit.
