Mass Decontamination Units
 
There are two Mass Decontamination units located in the state. Each of the Mass Decontamination units is a self-driven apparatus that contains the decontamination system within the unit. Each unit contains a generator, the ability to produce hot water and external decontamination shower heads. Each unit cost $280,000 to build and equip.
Capabilities
- Decontaminating victims and responders at a rate of 150-200 per hour
- Rest and recovery center
- Medical treatment and triage
- Personnel staging area
